Environmental Art Cecile Williams Repaired Log 2011

Environmental artist Cecile Williams is commissioned by the Northcliffe Sculpture Walk to make an ephemeral artwork. An old log, laying in the bush, had been previously sawn and Cecile sets about to 'repair' the log, and creates two Repaired Logs as a result.

"Banksia Blanket" 2011

Artist Cecile Williams was invited to create an ephemeral artwork at the Northcliffe Sculpture Walk in the South West of Western Australia. The artwork, titled Banksia Blanket, uses fallen banksia leaves, hand made stick 'nails' and the naturally burnt underbelly of a huge boomerang shaped tree.
